Bundle Newsletter – June 2025

Bundle Newsletter: June 2025

Introduction

We made a clear commitment in our recent Executive Briefings to improve how we communicate across the business – and I’m pleased to introduce one of the steps we’re taking to deliver on that promise: our new bi-monthly newsletter.

This newsletter is designed to give everyone a high level overview of key updates from across the company. Of course, your monthly team meetings will continue to provide more detailed insights, but this will give you the bigger picture and help us all stay connected.

More importantly, this space will shine a spotlight on our people. We’ll be celebrating your successes, sharing good news stories, and recognising achievements – whether they happen on the job or outside of work. To make this newsletter as relevant, engaging and inclusive as possible, we need your input. Got a story, milestone or shoutout to share? Send it our way using our online feedback form!

You’ll also start noticing our Bundle branding making its mark around the business, with new signage and posters appearing in our buildings. It’s an exciting step forward in bringing our whole-of-house energy efficiency proposition to life — and reinforcing our vision in everything we do.

I want to say a big thank you to those who shared their feedback on our draft VOICE values. Your views are crucial in shaping the culture we’re building together and we have updated these values to reflect the feedback received.

Finally, you’ll hopefully have seen the email for our Employee Survey or if not you can click here to take part in it. It’s a further commitment we made in our Executive Briefings, so please do take the time to partake in this survey as it’s really important that we gather your views on what it’s like to work here and how we can continually improve.

Here’s to open conversations, shared success, and the journey ahead.

Key business updates

New recognition & reward scheme

We’ve teamed up with Huggg, a provider of thoughtful gifts and versatile vouchers, to offer a new scheme to reward you for positive feedback from customers and fellow colleagues.

We’ll have plenty more to share on this scheme in due course, including some nifty posters with QR codes you can scan to see how it works.

Bundle branding has arrived

You will no doubt have seen the first signs of our internal Bundle launch being implemented with flyers, signage and posters sprouting up around the office!

These Bundle brand assets are our first step in getting everyone on board with the idea that “We are Bundle”. You’ll see much more of our new colour scheme and our mascot Buddy as the brand continues to roll out.

We want your feedback

As Nic has mentioned above, our employee survey is now open until Friday 13th June and is a core part of our commitment to two-way communication and can be found here.

Looking ahead, we’ll also be introducing anonymous quarterly pulse surveys, which are short check-ins to help us monitor progress and where possible, celebrate successes throughout the year.

Between these periodic surveys, suggestion boxes at each office, online feedback forms, and your nominated Bundle Champions, we hope you’ll find it easier than ever to voice your opinions.

We’re ISO accredited!

We’ve achieved not one but three ISO certifications, with zero major or minor non-conformances:

  • ISO9001 : globally recognised standard for quality management.
  • ISO45001 : standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system.
  • ISO14001 : standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organisations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve their environmental performance.

Employee spotlights

Georgia Snowdon

Georgia summits Snowdon!

Georgia Davies, Head of Submissions, recently took on a personal quest, with her partner, Harry, to conquer the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon. Located in the Snowdonia National Park and standing at 1,085 meters above sea level, it’s Welsh name is Yr Wyddfa which translates to “The Graveyard”, but don’t worry, we’ve done the headcount and are pleased to report they lived to tell the tale!

Georgia said of the experience: ” We started the hike at 3am and it took us 6 hours to get up and down the mountain. Harry tackled it with immense ease whereas I moaned significantly and then I couldn’t walk for two days after – but the sunrise at the top made it all worth it!”

Al Ryan - Inflatable Obstacle 5km.

Al Ryan bounces to victory!

Al Ryan, Group Marketing Director, recently took on a far less formidable challenge with his two daughters — a 5km inflatable obstacle course in Guildford. The run was in support of his 13-year-old eldest daughter, who secured sponsorship as part of her efforts to raise funds for a school trip to Africa next year. The trip’s aim is to support local community projects that seek to bring real, long-lasting change to children and families living in rural areas.

Al said: “It was a 2.5km course, which we went around twice. The inflatable obstacles were by far the hardest bit for me — my kids flew through them! My 9-year-old youngest daughter was only supposed to do one lap, but she enjoyed it so much she joined us for the second one too! Thankfully, we had beautiful weather and a really lovely day.”

Bundle Champion Forum kicks off!

We held our first Bundle Champion Engagement Forum this month, so thanks to all of you who volunteered. The main focus was reviewing all of your feedback around our VOICE values.

Overall the feedback was extremely positive which was great to see, but we’ve taken on board a number of your comments around needing more focus on internal people and recognition. As a result, we’ve changed the “Customer First” value to “Caring” and you can see how we’ve defined this in this attached PDF

The next step is to define the behaviours that align with each value and again we’ve been asking you for your thoughts on these via your Bundle Champion representative. We’ll be discussing this feedback in our next Bundle Champion Engagement Forum on Thursday 5th June.

Congratulations Annie!

Customer Service Advisor Annie Farrell has had a baby!

Ayda Lorraine Whelan was born on Friday 16th May weighing in at 7lb 12oz.

We hear that both mum and baby are doing well, and we wish them all the best!

Field team executive briefings

We held a number of roadshows last month for our Field Delivery roles, sharing the Executive Briefings and wider business updates.

These briefings are another positive step towards consistent communication across all areas of the business, and we look forward to more of them in the future.

Management fundamentals

Our HR & Training team have been busy rolling out a Management Fundamentals training programme to all people managers across the business. The aim of this course is to equip every people manager with the right tools and skills to deliver consistent and effective 1-2-1s, performance management and ensuring a better understanding of management styles.

Team Focus - Customer Service Team, Liverpool

The Liverpool office deal with the customer service side of Bundle, ranging from surveyor calls and booking in the ventilation and fabric appointments, being the first point of call on the customer’s journey and dealing with the fallout if things don’t go right.

Jayne Siner: Customer Service Operations Manager

Jayne worked as an area manager for a leading fashion store for many years developing her customer service and management skills before working at Liberty Gas and Next Energy where she excelled in planning and scheduling, gaining an excellent understanding of the renewable’s green energy business. Jayne leads the team at Liverpool and is excellent at keeping the team motivated and energy high despite the challenging customers and awkward situations they often have to deal with.

Geraldine Fraccinello: Customer Services Advisor

Gerry brings her compassionate nature to the role which is extremely helpful when dealing with customers,  often going out of her way to make the customers feel more at ease. It’ so important to remember what we do makes a  real difference and having the compassion and desire to provide customers with great service.

Rachel Browne: Customer Services Advisor

Rachel started with the business last year and focuses on the ventilation side of the business. She joined us from a scheduling delivery role, so a great fit for the team.

She is doing well gaining new skills and enjoying learning about the ECO and GBIS Schemes which are new to her.

Lindsay Saad: Customer Services Advisor

Lindsay came to us from Next Energy where she was the team leader of the electrical desk.

Prior to this, she was a customer service manager for many years and brings a great understanding of dealing with customers as well as resolving any customer complaints in a timely manner. She will be a great asset to the team here at Liverpool.

Annie Farrell: Customer Services Advisor

As you may have seen above, Annie has recently given birth to a beautiful baby and is currently on maternity leave.

As soon as she joined, Annie  fitted in perfectly. Her strong planning experience helps her with booking in fabric appointments as well as the customer service side.

Jack Williams: Customer Services Advisor

Covering Annie’s maternity leave, Jack hasn’t been with us long but he has already become a valuable member of the customer service team. He has a fantastic “customer first” attitude which he has brought with him from his previous role as a customer service advisor at Chums.

Jack goes above and beyond every day and he’s a pleasure to work with.

Kev Jones: Warehouse Manager

Kev has been at SCIS for a year and brings with him over 20 years of experience.

He manages the warehouse here at Liverpool as well as fleet and site management but more importantly, he is “Keverything” to the office girls here!

Nothing is too much trouble for Kev and he often helps with all issues the office staff face including IT and maintenance.
